Indiana has ten riverboat casinos five of which are located on the Ohio River. Caesar's predecessor, the Horseshoe Southern Indiana, was a riverboat casino on the Ohio River for more than 21 years. The new 100,000-square-foot casino features 1,650 slots, table games, poker room and sportsbook. Caesars Southern Indiana is a new $90-million land casino that replaced the former Horseshoe riverboat casino in December 2019.
